The LCDT is working to make Lossiemouth a better place to live work and visit. We’d love to hear from anyone that supports these objectives and would like to get more involved. You can become a member by completing this form.
We have a number of projects, initiatives and events which you can find out about on this website and through our social media channels.
🥳 We are absolutely delighted that our application to the Moray Council Coastal Communities fund has been successful!
The trust submitted the application on behalf of the stakeholders and the wider community for £20,000 for phase 1 of a long-term project to save the West Beach Car Park for the community. The money will enable us to bring in specialist engineers and other professionals to assess the options for securing the car park and enhancing the facilities.
🙏🏻 A huge thank you and congratulations to our development officers, Kate and Alison, for their commitment and hard work to pull this off, and for rallying the community via our page and the Friends of West Beach Car Park Lossiemouth page!

The project to save the West Beach car park got the MOST votes of all the projects in Moray Council Coastal Communities Fund participatory budgeting project!
Congratulations to all the Lossiemouth projects, Lossiemouth Fisheries and Community Museum, @SurfABLE and @OutfitMoray were also successful - four of the top five votes! So thank you to the whole community for you support!!!

We'd like to thank Highland Reserve Forces and Cadets Association and RAF Lossiemouth for hosting LCDT Acting-chair, Paul Bowden, at their recent Station Visit event.
Paul joined other local employers at a networking dinner at the Officer's Mess, and enjoyed a tour of the base, visiting P8 and Typhoon squadrons, as well as learning about innovative STEM developments.
LCDT are proud to have signed the Armed Forces Covenant and have been awarded the Defence Employer Recognition Bronze Award.

Lossiemouth looked superb over the weekend — and she’s a top mare: won the Mares’ Hurdle at the Festival 2025, absolute class. 🏆
